Well, that's weird...
Oddly enough, I really don't have an opinion on _On_ _Morality_, let alone a cynical one. It's weird because I usually have some kind of opinion on something so I can at least play the devil's advocate. The reading, for whatever reason, just didn't stick with me. It was a mildly feminist-sounding author writing about people dying in a desert. They touched upon morality and whether or not it was based on how one was raised as a child. I just saw it as another opinion on morality that I've heard re-hashed countless times. Blaugh.

The first post of far too many: Movie stuff
Okay, so: Unforgiven. Great movie. Even though I don't really like Westerns. Clint Eastwood is just a huge badass and so is Morgan Freeman. The little blind kid was annoying but other than that, the movie was great.
Do The Right Thing was another story though. I like Public Enemy, and "Fight The Power" is an awesome song, but hearing just the chorus 500 times in the span of a half-hour was horrid. Unfortunately, the movie also probably made me more racist than I was before (I'm a white kid in a midwestern suburb. Of course I'll be a bit racist). What I got out of that movie was a headache and a rekindled dislike for upstate New York. Spike Lee, I want my two hours back.
